Favourite Anime Characters?

Today W.A.L.T :  was Favourite anime characters we were figuring out
which one was the highest in the graph we started adding them all up
including the boys and girls we put it all together.

Year 8 students leadership camp

On Wednesday, The 15th of May all of the Year 8 went to the Leadership Camp at
Kauaeranga Valley Christian Camp, Thames. We spent 2 days and 1 morning
together and had lots of fun. When we reached the Camp and we were given our
cabins and our team adult but we needed to do it on our own. After the introduction
with Phil ( The Camp Manager ) and Shelly ( Phil's Wife ) my group did a game
show kind of thing to entertain everyone for about 30 seconds. Every group also
did 1 activity that day. My team, thames A, did archery. Kurtas was the best in
archery. We had 3 shots each and had about 4 turns so we got 12 shots altogether.
3 of my arrows got to the target. After the activities all of us had afternoon tea and
we went into our cabins to put everything into place in our cabins. After that we
had Dinner and Dessert. The meal was delicious. We then went to sleep. We tried
to tell each other in our cabin scary stories but everybody was tired but none of us
could go to sleep because of Marcella. Marcella was talking loudly and was
flashing a bright flashlight into everyone's eyes and I thought I was blind for
about a minute. At about 2 am I went to sleep but woke again at about 5:13 am
and decided to stay awake. Thursday was a very busy day Our third activity was
Games at the gym. At the gym Our team played lots of fun games like Captain's
Coming and Multi Sports. On Friday morning we all  started to wake up and pack
our bags up to start putting our bags onto the bus so after we packed our bags we
went down to have breakfast after we had breakfast we went to clean our rooms
up so the other people can stay at the camp. Went Everyone finished cleaning
Mr Jackson said the people who haven't been to the flying fox you can now come
and have a turn. So me and my friends and other people that didn't have a turn on
the flying fox.

Coordinate Mystery picture

For the last two weeks we have been learning about coordinates. we had to plot and connect the lines and follow instructions. at the end it was a Easter egg.

I like your attitude term 2

This morning we had a team assembly and we started to share about what was happening for today after we finish with team assembly when the bell rang for school assembly we all started to go class by class and when in boy girl lines we all started to walk in lines towards the hall when we were walking we went to go sit down on the chairs when everyone was seating we started to do the karakia. When we finish all the teams started to share about i like your attitude in the videos and explaining what is i like your attitude. When we all finish watching i had 1 favourite that i really like was team 4.

Task description: Today i leaning about Africa about the wildlife at risk we needed to find a country in
Africa so we started to choose south Africa and we needed to choose one of the dangerous
animals and get some facts about the animal you have chosen.

Begin Writing Here: One late night Lucy and Maria went to the tree house, It was a large treehouse, they walk closer to the treehouse just to see what is inside it. Lucy and Maria went inside the house and they said “This is so messy who even lives here”, Lucy and Maria are not being nice to the tree house. Maria asked “Lucy can we go inside the room”,

“sure said Lucy “ so they both when inside. When they were about to go home. It was getting dark so they decided to sleep inside the tree house for one night. When they are about to sleep it started to rain and rain, the tree fell down “Lucy screamed! Maria got up “what happened Lucy?”

“I don’t want to stay here anymore”

“Why”

“It not like i don’t like it here”

Lucy said “it’s because I want to go home and stay with my family”

“OK” said Maria.

“I promise we will go home tomorrow in the morning”

“Right” replied Lucy.

They both slept very early so they could wake up early tomorrow. At 4 o'clock in the morning, Lucy and Maria woke up  and the door was locked .

“ What’s is going on!” They both shouted.

So they were thinking how to get out of the house, so they sat down and think about it when they were thinking they heard a noise.

“What is that noise” They both wondered

“I don’t know I am very scared” Maria said.

They look at the window they saw a big bear they were very scared so they stay quiet. And they both got in big trouble because they went too far and not telling their mum or dad where they are going when you are going somewhere your family's need to know so you don’t get in trouble. And also even though your family know where you are going just don’t do like this.

Task Description: W.A.L.T:  justify our maths thinking. Today we were figuring out about the problem about where was the location in Auckland there was 5 places we needed to fine on the map that was given to the group to discuss and find the number that goes to the area that we were looking for.
