Chicken Wraps - Tech Tamaki

Today, as our normal Tuesday technology class at Tamaki we made Chicken Wraps! A lot of us were looking forward for cooking because it was the start of Term 3. As always I was partnered with Kalita

The ingredients we used were:
1. Lettuce
2. Tomatoes
3. Chicken
4. Mayonnaise
5. Tortilla Wraps
6. cheese

First we had to dice our lettuce and tomatoes as fine as we can get it. If your young you would need adult supervision when using a knife as I cut myself during the process After that Mrs Tuipulotu gave us the chicken and mayonnaise to add on our wraps. After we gathered all the ingredients, it was time to assemble! After making the wraps we then took a good bite into it. I found it very delicious as well as Kalita Feel free to make your own wraps and you can always change it up to how you want it.

Royal Family Junior Crew

Today after me and my friends were eating, we then started to talk about what was happening after the bell had rung we then started to line up to watch the royal family that had arrived. We then started to sit down on the floor lining up in a row with the other classes, then we were waiting for the royal family to get ready they first started to introduce themselves, some of them were 13 years old and 12 years old, they go to college but not the same college. After they were talking they started the dance their dance was only 3 girls , 4, 5 girls dancing in groups, they then went 1 by 1 by 1 they only did half a dance and started to ask a question about the royal family then they said whoever wants to dance can come up only 3 was supposed to go up but, 4 started to come up after they were up on stage their was only 1 person dancing first then their was 2 going on 3 but the 4th one wasn’t dancing They started dancing again finishing and the winner gets a price after their other half for the dance, It was short but I did enjoy some of the dances but it was good i like, how they were dancing they started to do the crowns at the end of the dance then we started to head back to class then when we have gotten back to class.

Task description: Today the whole school went down to the hall, to see the royal family to dance
in front of us. when they were introducing their self they then started to dance.

Something in the water

On July the 22nd the start of term 3 school started. The topic for Term 3 is there's something in the water or He mea i roto i te wai. It was all about the sorts of creature that is in the sea.

The Team 4 teachers also presented a video at assembly. In the video they went down to the Pt England Reserve. They talked about plankton, muscle, crabs, and seagulls. Ms Parrant also explained, what all these sea creatures eat. The muscles eat the plankton the crabs eat the muscles and the seagulls eat the crabs but what eats the seagulls.

Team 5 the best team always does a life stream. They sang a song on what Cell an all that sort of stuff is and what it means. BTW there song was so amazing it was so catchy and a very heart bumping song. Here at team 5 our team main focus is on science, because in college that is a subject and we have to know as much as we could to make life easier.

What is a scientist

Science is about a whole lot more than that and to sum it up we believe that science is a way of helping the brain grow in finding new knowledge and helps us defeat our curiosity of how the world develops and works. Science is important because it has helped form the world that we live in.

Today we were working on the world map then we started choosing our different countries from the continent. I have chosen Canada from north america then after i was travelling to Canada i started to share the population. When i arrived in to Canada we started to look around Canada about what kinds of places are in Canada, once i finished choosing my places i was working on banff. It was a nice place to visit with your family because it's like a camping ground.
