This term the year sevens have been making sculptures as part of our Te Wa Toi inquiry. We had to make them as a gift for someone.

Who is it for? This sculpture is for me and my mum because my mum like flowers and in our garden we have planted lots of flowers.

What does it represent? The flowers represent my culture and my family.

How did I make it? First I made the flowers out of pipe cleaners. I put the pipe cleaners together and turned them into flowers. Then I cut the cup in half and then hot glued it to the straws. I stuck the straws together with a glue gun to look like a table. I used the glue gun to stick everything together.

I hope you like it!
